Schmidt is one of our skilled and most sought veterinarians. Dr. Schmidt completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois in 1982 and is a member of the Illinois State Veterinary Medicine Association, the AVMA and AAHA and is constantly continuing his education to maintain the high level of knowledge about the many problems and conditions that can be dealt with surgically.
Dr. Michael Miller is a highly experienced veterinarian committed to providing his clients and their pets with standout veterinary service. He received his degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Illinois in 2011. He is a proud member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, American Association of Feline Practitioners, and Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians. In his free time, Dr. Miller enjoys watching Chicago sports teams and running with his trusted companion, Wombat. He also has a corn snake and three aquatic turtles.
Dr. Lisa Coder is a 2013 graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a caring and compassionate veterinarian dedicated to providing her clients and their pets with individualized, comprehensive, and quality veterinary care and has professional interests in nutrition, exercise physiology, and dentistry. Dr. Coder enjoys running, reading, gardening, and spending time with her family in her spare time and has three cats, Lloyd, Baka, and Honey Badger.
Dr. Kathryne Hall graduated from the University of Illinois with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2014 and is certified in veterinary spinal manipulation therapy. Her areas of professional interest include dentistry, chiropractic care, feline care, and soft tissue surgery. Inspired by her passion for animals and science, Dr. Hall says the best part of being a veterinarian is helping sick animals and providing exceptional veterinary care. Dr. Hall currently shares her home in Mokena, IL with her three dogs and one cat. Her dog, Etta is a Mexican hairless dog and has her own Instagram account! In her spare time she enjoys fostering cats and kittens, reading, traveling, cooking, and gardening.

Dr. Johnson completed his DVM from the University of Missouri in 1976 and is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association, the American Veterinary Medicine Association and the Illinois State Veterinary Medicine Association. Dr. Johnson and wife, Joanne, have two children and four grandchildren, and a furry family member, Chip, a Maltese/Lhasa mix. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, landscape photography and flower gardening.
With extraordinary care and compassion for each pet and its owner, Dr. R. Todd Gay is one of our beloved hometown veterinarians. Dr. R. Todd Gay received his Bachelor of Science Degree with honors from Eastern Illinois University in 1979 and obtained his DVM at the University of Illinois in 1983 with honors. A member of the American Veterinary Medicine Association and American Animal Hospital Association, Dr. Gay is also a member of the American Heartworm Society and the Cornell Feline Health Center. He and wife, Becky, have two daughters, Heather and Holly. He enjoys traveling, photography and running during his free time.
